I was so lucky to grow up in the ‘90s. It was the revolution, it really was. There’s such a fucking plethora of amazing music to pick from, from Hole to Bikini Kill to L7 to Babes in Toyland to Elastica. There was Kim Gordon. There were so many women. It was just such an awesome time. I really hope that happens again. I think it’s been a good twenty years, so, usually things go in cycles. I’m hoping that maybe in the mainstream, female-driven rock ‘n roll or just rock ‘n roll in general kind of gets its place again. You know? It’s been dominated by dance music and I agree with Shirley Manson actually, she says it’s because of 9/11. And that’s absolutely where things kind of changed. We all got very PC and didn’t want to rock the boat and just wanted to hear meaningless fluff, I guess.

"Thanks to fan David Berry for the pic taken today at Amoeba Records in Los Angeles , California. Thanks also to everyone who went out today and supported us. We have seen all your pics and your posts. It’s been really gratifying to see. We hope you LOVE the songs. We hope you LOVE your vinyl.… Those of you in the UK and possibly Europe who received black vinyl instead of green vinyl, please know we are looking into this issue and are as confused about this turn of events as you are. We take this kind of thing VERY seriously and are determined to get to the bottom of it. Quite frankly…….you are getting a tiny taste of what it’s like to be at the mercy of the official record company system. Unless we pack every single thing ourselves we can’t be certain everything gets done in a uniform fashion! Our sincere apologies to anyone who feels that they are not entirely satisfied with their purchase. We will do our utmost to make things right once we find out what went down. But do know that you are now in possession of a stellar piece of vinyl nevertheless! Try to enjoy the music regardless. That is what we put all our effort and our passion into. That is what we care most about. And love love love to ALL of you out there for your enthusiasm. Not just for garbage but for music in general. We are grateful to you for supporting your local vinyl record stores. Those who are fighting the good fight against homogenization and the indifference towards audio quality in general. Happy Easter Everybody. We’re off to eat some eggs.” -Garbage garbageofficial
